Main Genre: Alternative Rock
Characteristics: As a DJ I guess I was about average in terms of radio voice, delivery etc, but I'd like to think my love of music and knowledge of rock'n'roll trivia made my shows enjoyable to listen to.
Comments: My on air audition was pretty interesting. I had spent a couple hours in the Rat drinking pitchers of beer with friends on a random mid-week afternoon (as you do…aaah, the carefree life of a college student) and Joe Trelin, general manager of the station at the time, happened to walk in. We said hello and he thought that that would be as good a time as any for my on air debut. In the laissez faire atmosphere of college radio, I guess it was pretty fitting to be semi-drunk during my first broadcast.

When not DJ-ing: Drinking swill at Frank's Living Room, seeing bands at JB Scott's and the Chateau Lounge, playing guitar in The Wankats and Husk, going on "sleaze runs"... a gastronomic tour of all the fine dining establishments in Albany, eg Johnny's Hot Dogs, Mom and Pop's Diner, Dan's Place etc.
